Hi!
My name is Shura, I'm an illustrator from Moscow.
I love bright colors, naive graphics, mix of different materials
and simplicity of storytelling.
I create pictures and graphic illustrations, make commercial illustration and develop author’s books and comics. I already have three realized author’s book projects and lots of independent pictures. I took part in various group exhibitions and also held my personal one with paintings and illustrations.
I graduated from the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts, faculty of Art Design, where we studied academic drawing and painting. Then I entered the Art and Design School of HSE University and graduated the faculty of Author’s book, where we studied illustration, creation of author’s book and modern art techniques.

A comic book that tells the story of a dog who has found her home and family. Social comic book aimed at attracting people's attention to the problem of dog shelters.

"Little Stories of the Big Summer"
Illustrated author's book "Little Stories of the Big Summer". The illustrations are done in watercolor and ink.
This is an author's autobiographical book about the summer adventures of two girls in a small town. This book is a collection of stories of one summer that turned lives of city children upside down, taught them to find the amazing in the ordinary, overcome difficulties, love nature and be truly happy.

Teaching
For two years now I have been working with children and adults in techniques of modern drawing and illustration. I have developed three educational programs aimed at developing creative thinking, teaching modern art techniques and creating handmade zines and comics.
